LOCTITE® 290 is a green, medium-high strength threadlocker designed for the locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. Because of its low viscosity and capillary action, the product wicks between engaged threads and eliminates the need for disassembly prior to application (also referred to as wicking grade threadlocker). The product cures when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage due to shock and vibration. Because of its flowable properties, the product is also suitable for sealing porosities in welds, castings and powdered metal parts.

Developed originally as a formula to help displace moisture from space shuttle components, over the years WD-40® Multi-Use Product has become a trusted friend to solve a whole range of problems around your home, workshop, factory and garage. It’s great as a rust removal product for tools and other metal surfaces, and as a lubricant for machines, car parts and other mechanisms.
