3M™ VentureClad™ Insulation Jacketing Tape 1577CW is designed for insulation facing and jacketing applications. Highly puncture and tear resistant, this zero permeable jacketing tape is quick and simple to install. It requires no special tools and can be easily cut and used without glues or primers. Has a service temperature range from -70˚C to 148˚C (-94˚F to 300˚F), ensuring superior adhesion and strength in all climates. This adhesive adheres immediately on contact to a variety of materials such as fibreglass, faced fibreglass insulation, mineral wool, polystyrene and flexible aerogel. Once bonded, this tape will provide good holding power for extended periods with good aging properties and resists lifting and curling over time. This product is used to protect insulation against UV, ozone, high humidity, salt spray, weather, oil and grease, aggressive chemicals, impact and mechanical abuse, corrosion under insulation (CUI), and moisture vapour intrusion.
